Serat was born from a simple idea — to turn a personal passion for design into meaningful, handcrafted products that make every home feel special.

Our story began in 2012, when we started decorating our own home, blending our background in graphic design with a love for beautiful spaces. We began by designing and producing wall frames — and they quickly gained admiration from friends and family who encouraged us to take the next step.

That’s when we launched Serat — an online home boutique offering unique, art-inspired décor pieces. What started with wall frames soon expanded into a growing range of home products: cushions, table runners, trays, tissue holders, key boxes, storage boxes, poufs, prayer mats, and more. Each item is crafted to bring personality, warmth, and cultural flair into your space.

In 2023, we proudly introduced Serat Wear — a modest women’s fashion line that reflects the same creative spirit as our home collection. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to combine art, comfort, and modern style.

Today, all of our products are proudly designed by us and handmade by skilled Egyptian craftsmen.
